Please note we are in the finishing stages of completing our new and improved facilities. The new location is in the PicFair area of LA, just south of Hollywood and East of Beverly Hills. We will update the web site in the next couple weeks with new photos and details.

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA

The main Home Recording Boot Camp facility is located in sunny West Side Los Angles, in Culver City, California just minutes from The world famous Venice Beach, Marina del Rey, the Sony Film Studios and Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and just 15 minutes from the Hollywood Sunset Strip, The Santa Monica Pier and the Beaches of Malibu.

The teaching facilities are a comfortable, laid back professional studio that has recorded or mixed an amazing array of musicians such as Tony Levin, Robert Fripp, Mike Keneally, Ulver, Jerry Marotta, Nels Cline and several members of the Cirque du Soleil Verakai band. The studio was created as a unique place where musicians would feel comfortable and creative. Although it is commercial facility, it was designed to have the feel of a large comfortable home studio with a mix of analog and digital technology and ample space for drum recording and teaching. A perfect place to teach and learn home recording.

The gear is of high quality but similar to a set up one could have at their own well funded home studios. D&R Series 4000 console, outboard gear from Manley, A Designs Lexicon, Empirical Labs, Night Pro, Roland, Little Labs, Drawmer and others. Mics from Shure, Electrovoice, Microtech-Geffel, unidyne and a few that are mysteries even to us!

In addition to our programs in Los Angeles, Home Recording Boot Camp occasionally does workshops at various locations around the world, Including Washington State and North Italy.

The overwhelming majority of our courses are taking place at out Los Angeles location, but we occasionally get to do workshops at some other wonderful locations.
