Special 5 day session featuring Terry Bozzio

We are pulling out all the stops for this session of Home Recording Boot Camp!! The Cost is $1,000USD (50% deposit to register) and we are not offering a special early registration discount because this will sell out early. Class size is limited to 6 students and we already have students registered from as far away as Iceland!

This 5 day session of Home Recording Boot Camp ends with a full day, in studio workshop and recording session with drumming legend Terry Bozzio. Not only is Terry regarded as one of the best drummers on the planet, but he has long been a pioneer of innovating the role of drummers and has assembled one of the most impressive and technically challenging drum kits in the world from a recording perspective. If you can mic the Bozzio kit, you can mic anything. And you will learn how in this once in a lifetime opportunity. This will be a recording work shop that focuses on the recording aspects of drums, and will not be a drum performance clinic.

In addition to all the gear already at the HRBC studio, Dot of The Listening Sessions is making arrangements for several top pro audio manufactures to send lots of cool toys for us to try out and experiment with, including A-Designs Audio, DPA Microphones, Millennia Media, Pearlman Microphones...

In addition to the drum recording workshop with Bozzio, the course will feature 4 days of intense recording training from several top recording engineers and producers including Ronan Chris Murphy (main instructor), John Rodd, Stephan Marsh and maybe even a few surprises. We will even cover how to mic regular sized drum kits!!! Check out the staff details.
